Diploma in Coaching for Leaders and Managers
We live in the midst of global change, climatically, politically and economically. Coaches are both agents of change and leaders, and they facilitate and accommodate change in themselves, their team members, their employees and their organisations. This course addresses the need for talented and passionate coaches and leaders. Coaches need to go beyond the support of performance improvement and the address of deficit. They need to be able to understand the need for inspirational, transformational personal work which will help them to be productive members of their organisation and their coachees to be masterful in their field. This diploma expressly pursues this goal.
The course will address the needs of participants in two ways. It will offer learning in a traditional and structured way, with a strong theoretical content, and made available by formal delivery, practical experience and private study. Because of the need for coaches to be leaders and agents of change, it will also offer learning in a post-structural and transformative way, seeking to aid in-depth, insightful change. Post-structural approaches go beyond the traditional view that learning is incremental and built on small steps, and stress the idea that insights can lead to immediate and lasting change. This course will take participants from questioning the nature and perception of reality to holding superb practical skills.
